I think a bird crawled out of his feathers,\u201d he announced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, a bird crawled out of his feather!\u201d chimed in the four year old.<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jerrybegly.com\/superunleashedblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSCN21031.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"DSCN2103[1]\" border=\"0\" alt=\"DSCN2103[1]\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jerrybegly.com\/superunleashedblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSCN21031_thumb.jpg?resize=412%2C310\" width=\"412\" height=\"310\"><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He had even more hot chocolate on his face, including a new \u201chot chocolate eyebrow\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou mean like when a snake crawls out of his skin?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI saw that pile of feathers,\u201d I announced. \u201cI think a bear or a fox ate him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, but there\u2019s no blood around there!\u201d Chocolate Boy #1 insisted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve got a good point there,\u201d I admitted. \u201cIs he growing new feathers?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell,\u201d I decided, \u201cif any birds are walking around without big feathers, they\u2019d better fly south so they don\u2019t freeze.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gary Larson of <em>The Far Side <\/em>wrote about the strange things that several pots of coffee do to you in the morning.
