We will be issuing parachutes so you can go home now.\u201d (Nervous laughter.)<\/p>\n<p>The original platform was built around 1898 by Charles W. Darrow, brother of Clarence Darrow, the famous lawyer and Scopes Monkey Trial lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>The original platform had no guardrail. <\/p>\n<p>Instead of calling it \u201cExclamation Point\u201d, I would have called it \u201cPerspiration Point.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can you see the cave tour guide and the tourists in the photo?
